GlobalPORT-2014 St.Petersburg - the Sea Capital of Russia. Transport Security

On the 26th 27th of March 2014 the IV International Forum Transport Security was held within the UNITED RUSSIA Party Project Saint-Petersburg the Sea Capital of Russia.

The Forumwas held with the support of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, State Duma of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Federal and Regional Ministries and Administrations, commercial and non-profit organizations.

The business and exhibition programmeswere presented in the Forum. The main discussion topics in the business programme of the Forum was: state policy in the complex transport security sphere; new demands of the transport security providing on transportation facilities; peculiarities and necessity of vulnerability assessment realization and rating of transport means; difficulties and efficiency of the transport security implementation in the transport sphere; road accident reduction and new decisions in the transport security providing.

The participants discussed the problems of passenger and freight traffic security in air, railway, highway and maritime transports.

Alongside with the business programme the exhibition was held. This fact can combine the performance of new technologies and discussion the most important themes about the transport security. International and regional projects about the transport security formation, equipments and tools for the security on boards and transportation facilities, information and communication systems and technologies, services for security, qualified staff training, insurance and crediting were shown at the exhibition.

Theresolution with proposals and recommendationswill be directed to the profile committees of the Upper and Lower Chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ministries and administrations, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in order to improve the legislative base and government control in the sphere of transport security.
