IX International Conference "Manpower Policy".

 


On November 10-11, 2016 St. Petersburg will host the IX International Conference "Manpower Policy". The event will be held in the framework of the Project "St. Petersburg is the Sea Capital of Russia" of the Party "UNITED RUSSIA".
Traditionally, the event will be held with the support and participation of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, subordinate agencies, services and other relevant federal and regional ministries and departments. It is expected that the Conference will be attended by about 300 delegates from the federal and regional authorities, scientific, educational and business organizations of various forms of ownership.
The level of competitiveness of a modern economy increasingly depends on the quality of professional staff. This fully applies to the transport as a sector going along the path of innovative development. New technologies in the economy, causing the emergence of new professions, require the improvement of the quality of training which should meet the challenges of the time. Achieving the goals stated in the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030, is directly related to the creation of a qualitatively new system of staffing and system of personnel reproduction.
The Area of Conference "Manpower Policy" aims to create the conditions for a constructive dialogue between the government, business, education, science and society in order to develop cooperative solutions to improve the efficiency of the transport education and to provide the transport sector with qualified personnel.
Key issues of a discussion:
• The state policy in the sphere of education and employment,
• Development of cooperation of the education system and the labor market,
• The introduction of professional standards on transport enterprises,
• Modernization of the content and material and technical base of transport education,
• Improving working conditions, human resource management system in the field of transport,
• Innovation in the transport education associated with the growth of the importance of information technologies on transport.
The outcome of the Conference will be a Resolution with suggestions and recommendations reflecting the position of a transport community regarding the staffing support of the industry. The document will be forwarded to the relevant committees of the upper and lower chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ministries and agencies in order to improve the State policy and regulatory system of training and management of staff capacity of transport sector.

The companies of transport complex, educational institutions and training centers, recruitment agencies, consulting companies, manufacturers of training equipment, software developers, leasing and credit organizations, banks, insurance companies, public organizations and non-profit associations are invited to participate in the Event.
