On December 2-3, 2009 the II All-Russian conference St. Petersburg the Sea Capital of RUSSIA. Manpower policy will take place in St. Petersburg within the framework of the United Russia political party project St. Petersburg the Sea Capital of Russia.

The event is devoted to the features of Human Resourcing in Russias transport complex according to the new economic and demographic conditions, and to the most pointed questions of personnel training in transport branch as also to the interaction of educational community with business structures.

Participants of the conference should solve at once a number of key problems. First of all, it is perfection of the vocational training system in the field of transport, increase of its investment appeal, stimulation of the state-private partnership in the new economic situation. Separately it is necessary to consider the questions of innovations development in the field of transport education, to discuss retraining programs of jobless citizens and the staff deficit problem, to work out recommendations concerning attraction of young talented experts and their withholding in transport sphere.

The conference St. Petersburg the Sea Capital of RUSSIA. Manpower policy will be organized within the framework of the 200th anniversary of the transport department and transport education creation. Participation in the conference is included into the work plan of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Federal agency of sea and river transport, JSC United shipbuilding corporation.

Representatives of administrations, educational institutions and business structures from more than 30 regions of Russia will take part in the work of the conference.
