In conditions of world economic globalization it is the interstate relations that stimulate further development. Modernization of transit corridors, improvement of legal basis that regulates transport sphere will strengthen the status of Russia as a reliable partner, open new growth prospects. In this respect methodical work of governmental authorities and business communities and forming of one view-point on development is necessary.

Annual conferences of the Project of the “UNITED RUSSIA” Party “St. Petersburg – the sea capital of RUSSIA” is a good possibility to discuss current issues of transport and transit potential of Russia and promising areas of further development of the transport sphere in detail.
