Also Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky sea port provides a wide range of sea service for vessels. In the future, after the opening of the NSR for a year-round navigation, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port can become a major logistics center, which will be handling and maintening transit traffic following the Northern Sea Route to Asia-Pacific region. Thus, the issues discussed at IV International Conference "St. Petersburg - the Sea Capital of RUSSIA. Transport and Transit Potential" is very relevant today for the Kamchatka Territory and for Russia as a whole.
