Students’ knowledge should be estimated

This issue will be discussed on the VIII International Forum “Manpower policy” which will take place on November 19, 2015 in St. Petersburg in the framework of the United Russia party project “Saint-Petersburg – the sea capital of Russia”. Manpower policy is one of the key directions of United Russia party project activity.

Low level of stuff training is one of the main problems of Russian transport sector. Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Education and Science will present a paper concerning this topic on the plenary session. According to the Service, the project designed to estimate students’ knowledge is already being conducted.

January 22, 2015 the test of independent assessment procedure will take place in Russian universities. According to Sergey Kravtsov, head of the Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Education and Science, students’ knowledge assessment is an important experiment.  “On the one hand it shows that we have universities which give qualitative education and are ready to independent audit of their services, on the other hand it gives a certain pattern which will incite students and professors to teach and study appropriately.
